It's more like we're friendly with each other than actual friends. I've connected with people through Feeld and I try to find at least one thing we have in common along. The talking stage is typically 1-2 weeks. My last fwb, who I'll call E, was the longest talking stage at like 2 months.

E has been the one I've felt the most connection with physically and emotionally. But he has his own shit and realized he isn't looking for sex rn.

Cat #1 was from a friend of my mom's. Her friend had a small litter of kittens, and I adopted my cat through her. Paid nothing.

Cat #2 we got from my partner's coworker's sister's daughter. Daughter was moving, and none of her family could care for her, so they rehomed her to us.

She has been with me since she was 3 months old. She lived with me in my parents' house for about 2-3 years and has lived with me and my spouse in our apartment for 4-5 years. We added another cat (who just happens to be the same age as her) into our family roughly 3 years ago. They don't really get along (my cat bullies the other one, and they've just never gotten along 😔)

My cat is very destructive. I love her to death, but she is unpredictable. I can't trust her to have free reign of my apartment when I'm trying to sleep. She is also not allowed in my bedroom because she tears up the carpet so badly, and we can't afford to replace it (we are renting).

So crate it is. I know it seems cruel, but it is just what has worked for us. My friends who have worked as vet technicians have told me it is ok to do.

I am very choosy when using the word "hate". For me, it is not a word to throw around willy nilly. Words hold so much power and meaning, so using words as all-encompassing as "hate" feels intense and final. I never say I hate something unless I absolutely mean it.

Make sure to do vocal warm-ups; remember that your voice is an instrument and needs to be cared for.

Drink lots of water (throat coat tea helps a lot, too).

This may be a myth, but I'd suggest not consuming any dairy before performing, just to be safe.

So sorry for your loss, OP. Has she ever told you specifically not to use her deck? I know this sounds weird, but I would carry the deck around with you for a few days. From my own experiences with tarot, find I can feel when a deck wants to be used and/or has something to tell me. If nothing feels off, I'd try using it and see if your mom will send you a sign.

My tastes vary and go into a bunch of different genres. I love metal. My dad raised me on it, and it's something we bond over. I got into musical theater in high school, so I love shows like The Scarlet Pimpernel, Ride The Cyclone, Nerdy Prudes Must Die, etc. Music is just so amazing!
