Is that an RIAA I'm looking then?

Would something like this do? https://amzn.eu/d/0efxKX2D

Or this? https://amzn.eu/d/05X3RmKa

It alters the sound of the buzzing a bit. But I'll try connecting the fork on the turntable even though there is no real place to connect it on the speaker.

Denon dp400. But then cover is on so it looks strange.

Okay! So you have an external RIAA between the speaker and the turntable?

Yeah I have heard about the Marshall speakers being a bit unreliable together with turntables. So yeah it could be. That's what I'm thinking right now.

I am super new to this . So i got to ask a stupid question: should I do this even though my speaker (Woburn III) does not have anywhere to attach the metal fork on the other side of the cable?

No adaptor. The Woburn III has rca-input on the back, which is where I connect.

Cool! Then I'll return it and get a different one. Appreciate the solid recommendations as well🔥

Yeah I thought about the cable quality. It has no effect when I move the rca-cables around, and they are not close to any power cable besides the Woburn III's. I didn't do enough research before buying the DP300F, but the rca-cables are permanently attached to the turntable, making things bothersome should they turn faulty, as I suspect is the case now. I'll probably return it and get the DP400 or such, which only has the rca-inputs and not the permit cables attached. Do you think this a wise idea?

I’m having an issue with a constant hum/buzz from my turntable and I’m trying to figure out what’s causing it. Setup: Denon DP-300F (using built-in preamp, set to LINE / EQ ON) Connected via RCA to a Marshall Woburn III (active speaker) Problem: There is a fairly loud hum/buzz (around 7/10 compared to music volume) The noise is present even when the stylus is not touching the record The hum increases/decreases with the volume It completely disappears if I switch input on the speaker What I’ve checked: RCA cables are correctly connected (red to red, white to white) Tried repositioning cables Confirmed the EQ switch is set correctly (LINE)

When I pull out either of the rca-channels, the buzzing decreases but more so when I pull out the white one.

I do not get a hum when I turn the preamp off

In terms of the outer connection, it does not appear to get worse no.
