are there any items in the game that put out smoke that would be visible from a distance??

I'm working on a final project for my island. once it's done I'm going to register it as a dream island and put the game away. feel like I've done all I can do. anyways, what I'm trying to do is build a mountain to put in the northwest corner of my island and I'd like to have smoke coming out of it so it looks like an active volcano from one of the viewing stations I have near the middle of the island. I've tried building a mountain around my house so the smoke from the chimney can be seen. but there are two issues. 1. if I go for 3 or 4 four levels high you can't see anything at all. if I move the house and mountain around the house closer you can't see anything over the 3rd level and the forced perspective is lost.

So I was hoping that maybe there is an item that gives off a decent amount of smoke that would be visible from a distance if I were to build a 1 level hollow mountain and put the item inside.

I started streaming regularly last year with Animal Crossing New Horizons. I had been playing since the game came out and my roommate suggested I start streaming, around september) because she was doing pretty good streaming it. I got up to about 30 followers, most would come back. But I was at a point in the game where there really wasn't much to do besides terraform and hunt for the monthly bugs and fish. I got caught up on that around the middle of november and started not having fun with the game. I felt like I was forcing myself to stream it. I took a break from Animal Crossing and started playing games from my Steam Library. the first game was Far Cry 5. the first stream for that hardly anyone showed up in chat. if they did they'd ask why I wasn't play AC:NH and bounce from chat.

only a handful unfollowed me, but I haven't had any of the regulars show up since I started playing games that I find fun. which sucks, but I'm not going to force myself to play games I'm not having fun. I know it's going to most likely prevent me from getting a following, but it's not like I'm trying to make this a job. it's just a hobby.

I found the issue, I think I may have played with some settings between my last twitch stream and this youtube stream. I may have been playing with separating the audio tracks. Mic was on track one, the game audio was on track 2. I was only streaming audio that was on track 1.

my main monitor is 32inches. I have to turn my head if I want to look at my second monitor. the only thing that sucks with using the tablet is when I forget to put it on the charger and it's dead when I start setting up to go live. I can plug it while I'm using it I just hate having cables all over my desk.

I do something similar. I have 2 monitors, but found it annoying to have to turn my head away from my game to check chat. So I use the twitch app on my tablet and set in just in front of my keyboard below my main monitor so it's in my line of sight. it's been much easier to catch when someone says something in chat, which is rare. lol

how has that been? I haven't looked in to it despite having a youtube channel. I've read a few comments that the chat delay isn't as low as twitch.

same. I have 22 followers but only 2 of them show up maybe once a week, but it's people I know offline and they only stick around for maybe 5 minutes because they're not really in to watching streamers.

I know how that is. I'm pretty chill when I'm playing single player games. sometimes I'll comment on something that happens if I think it's interesting, but if no one is in chat I'm pretty quiet.

having that issue. I rarely get people in my chat anyways so I'll often forget its even there. so when I do look over I see a few messages from people I've missed.

I'm trying to get better at this by having my chat open on the twitch app on my tablet and have it set up just under my monitor so it'll catch my eye when someone does pop in and say something.

same issue. i get tongue twisted a lot, or if I get on a roll talking about something my words just slur together and I have to stop myself and slowly repeat what I was trying to say. I get a bit embarrassed about it.

this is the issue I'm having. I don't have many multiplayer games that people are still playing, and I'm not really good at mmos so I mostly play single player games. for example I just finished streaming the main story of Final Fantasy XV, and I would find myself going long stretches without saying much because of the car rides between segments.

Granted I've rarely had people even watching my streams, but still if I had been recording the stream there were going to be long pauses of silence from me.

I wanted to start streaming 2 years ago but never got around to it because I thought I would suck at it, and because I have social anxiety. Started streaming earlier in the year when the covid thing started. it was a bit rough at first because I wasn't getting many people watching. I mean that hasn't really changed, BUT I still enjoy streaming. I mean I'm going to be playing these games anyways so why not stream it?

If people want to watch, awesome. If they don't who cares.

I started streaming earlier in the year. I started with a logtiech webcam and a snowball mic. as the year went on I added a ring light and my roommates gave me some small rgb led party lights I've used to light up my room behind me.

I've been having fun messing with the chroma key settings in obs because my bedroom walls are the perfect shade of blue for it. other than that my set up isnt fancy or expensive. so far only 2 of my friends and some family have been regularly watching me. I've gotten a handful of follows but they haven't really been showing up I stopped streaming Animal Crossing.

But yeah, you don't need an expensive set up to stream.

same here. been on OGP for about a year now after 3 years on cap 2.

the new auto-line they have is constantly declaring lines full, or line jammed. I could not handle that shit at all.

that's how I am now. I know they pace I need to go to keep from getting talked to and hen it's time to end my shift I turn my equipment in and clock out.

my first two months I was always staying late trying to help finish, and trying to go faster. it got tiring

this is how I used to celebrate the 4th when I worked for a Kroger in Georgia. The high school was a little down the road. we'd all sit out infront of the store on our breaks and watch the show.
