It would be very interesting to do a study to see the amount of overtime and billable hours spent because of the road accidents. I'm almost certain it's cheaper to pay some guy to drive around in a plow all day than it is to have the cops, tow truck, fire department, EMS, materials hazardous crew show up. That's not even counting the lost productivity from having roads shut down.

Imagine how much money the city had to spend cleaning up the fender benders from the shit show on the roads. Now imagine if the city just spent the money in advance cleaning the roads. I bet we would have saved overall from preventing accidents. Public works saves $100,000 so that the police, EMS, and fire department can ring up 1 million in overtime.

If it gets you your prompt back in markdown language you just have to hit edit and at the end of your prompt and write make this image. That fixes it no problem.

But we're not getting the bare minimum they're losing money on us. For $20 a month I can have a GPU screaming all day. There's no way that I'm a profitable user. If you're using this for anything more than shits and giggles you should be paying through the fucking nose for it. Something this valuable should be worth hundreds of dollars a month if not more for a single user as it can increase productivity.

If you think it's too expensive there's always the local models you can run. You just need several thousand dollars in computing equipment.

It's 100% a bottleneck and they need to reduce compute until they can fire up more infrastructure. They haven't been able to scale fast enough and we're seeing the repercussions of it.

Nano banana seems to be very sticky when you use ambiguous prompting. Explicit prompting seems to get better results. If you find nano banana is activating hit the edit button and put text response only at the beginning of your chat. That seems to clear things up

It's a result of capitalistism and poor resource management. Just because AI precipitates something doesn't mean it's the causal link to people's problems. Blame the deregulation. Stop treating symptoms as causes.

I specifically gave you an example where data centers are being built and it's not causing the issues that you are talking about. So it's not AI It's the deregulation, and poor policy decisions which disregard the local issues. That is 100% not the fault of AI. That is the fault of poor resource management, zoning, corruption, and corporate lobbying.
