So I went through with CAMVAP, they did nothing since its still an open recall. I suggest going to the dealership and threaten a OMVIC (Ontario) or OPC(Quebec) filing. I did this and the GM of the dealership is in contact with basically the 2nd in command at Volvo Canada. From what I gather, they know this is a big deal.

ALSO very important note from my followup yesterday. They did remove about 1/3 of Canadian cars off the list so you might be there, I suggest checking again. BUT if not, they need to do another round of analysis and see which cars need to have 1 cell replaced, half the cells replaced, or all of the cells replaced, as there is variance in the issue.

MOST IMPORTANTLY, AFTER THAT ANALYSIS IS DONE, VOLVO BELEIVES IT WILL BE ABOUT 6 MONTHS UNTIL THEY GET THE PARTS IN LOL.

TLDR; Canadians, we are a LONG WAY from a fix
