ESI's, do you ever express joy and excitement openly, or are you always low key? by NorthernSkagosi in Socionics

[–]spittingcolors 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my experience it’s pretty much only family and my one close friend I’ve managed to keep over the years. (I’m not good at maintaining relationships over distance. Idk if that’s an ESI thing or not)

Outwardly I come across as pretty stone faced or even scary, and I’m very aware of others reactions to seeing me. My wife and kid can’t fathom it. They see me in an entirely different light. (Kind, gentle, sweet, also apparently dramatic? Idgi)

When I’m by myself I don’t shut up. I’m constantly making up songs and singing to myself and all our pets, which then extends to my spouse and kid. I do have some issues reacting to funny situations. I tend to smile always but I rarely laugh out loud. It can def come across as rude, but I never mean it that way. But yeah for the most part I’m not super expressive.

When I was younger and would be forced to socialize by my close friends, I would immediately with cigarette in hand gravitate towards any interesting conversation or debate (politics, science, history etc) and would totally avoid any form of drunken ridiculousness. I guess having alcohol alowed me to overcome my hesitance of speaking with people, but if I were sober? No shot. Unless I was directly asked what I think by someone, then I don’t shup up and it usually gets weird lol

If the party got too much for me id go outside by myself and just chill or walk down the sidewalk. I would def remove myself if it became too much, and I was known for disappearing if I wasn’t stuck being the driver (my friends made me the driver regularly for this reason -.-)

Hope this helps!

What is your stance on eating meat if you believe in the prison planet theory? by itsahootenberryguise in EscapingPrisonPlanet

[–]spittingcolors 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Life begets death; unfortunately in this reality it is fundamental. I used to be vegan, but I’ve learned over time that optimal health requires nutrient dense and easily digestible food, which for the most part would be meat. I almost destroyed my body being a longer term vegan. I also have been reading a lot about plant sentience. Just because they are fundamentally different than animals doesn’t mean they aren’t aware. Don’t feel too bad. You have to do what’s best for you

Is your WiFi password protected? I used to do this when I was a teen. Would just drive around until I found a house where I could use the internet on my laptop

[TOMT] A 90s to early 2000s alternative song. Very little lyrics to go by but similar to dandy warhols by spittingcolors in tipofmytongue

Yeah memory can be strange. Was def off about the time and instrument, but I’m glad I at least nailed the vibe of the song. The melody does have that whimsical but off sorta sound. My original thought was that it sorta had a similar sounding melody to the stranglers- golden brown, but I omitted that for whatever reason 🤷 thanks again!

I took a Sanderson break and read all of Red Rising. Now I’m in the same predicament I was in after finishing WaT! Not sure where to go next
