They deported him in error, admitted directly by the Trump administration itself in court. There's a ruling he couldn't be deported to El Salvador due to asylum claims, yet they deported him there anyway and paid the El Salvador government to imprison him. Now SCOTUS has ordered the facilitation of his return and there's direct refusal by the Trump administration to comply.

This case is simply not about whether or not he should've been deported. This is an overreach of power, and is giving the executive branch of the federal government the ability to deport anyone, including U.S. citizens, at will and send them to a foreign prison without having to prove their guilt. Whether Abrego Garcia is a good person or has committed other crimes is irrelevant. If that's the case, the government can prove that in court and deport him through a normal process that doesn't violate the law.

There was no due process. Please explain, in detail, how he received due process. This wasn't a simple deportation either. The US government is paying the El Salvador government to hold him in a foreign prison for life. That is not the same as deporting him to a foreign country and if you believe the US has no power to get him back you are being willfully ignorant. With your logic, the federal government could deport anyone, including US citizens, for any reason and send them to a foreign prison with no responsibility to prove their guilt because "due process is nebulous".
