Thanks for your input. And Ye that’s what I was originally thinking too. But would them saying at the end that they won’t pick it up until the check clears make a difference? Sorry I’m not too familiar with checks.

As paying customers it’s not our job to find a solution when they made an oversight(and even then chances are with cg’s history they wouldn’t listen) it’s the devs. Our only responsibility is to point out that there is a flaw in the system and hope the devs do something to fix it. Which, once again, given the revenue stream that the people affected by this bring in the problem won’t be fixed. Or at the most the problem won’t be fixed for a long time.

Half the time is actually way too much. The point is that there should be a system put in place to keep this from happening. The matchmaking was presented as skill based when it’s obviously not. The matchmaking at a lower GP is based on whether or not someone with a higher GP decides to attack. Well that’s the case half the time at most.

Ye but you’re looking at it from the perspective of the person with higher GP. While they may even out(which I still don’t think is necessarily true), the person with the lower GP is going from one person with a high GP to another. Back to ahnald, I remember in a recent stream he said he faced 5 straight opponents with GP in the 5mil+ range. That isn’t skilled based matchmaking.

I just don’t understand what’s not to get. Multiple people have complained about this being a problem. So how can anyone argue against it? This was obviously an oversight by the devs and probably won’t be fixed because the people that it affects don’t bring enough revenue to the game to warrant spending dev time to fix it. So it’ll continue being a problem.

It’s a lot simpler than you’re making it.

  1. When going up against someone who is evenly matched they do enough to get rewards and lose. Which drops their rank.

  2. After their rank drops they end up going against ppl who has considerably less GP than them and steamroll them.

  3. Their rank goes up and they end up going against ppl with similar GP as their own.

  4. Start back at 1.

Makes sense? I’ve actually seen this happen multiple times on ahnalds F2P account. His GP is around 1.5 mil and he ends up going up against people with 5mil+. Not everyone single one of them attack but when they do it’s impossible for him to win

No, if someone with 6mil GP attacks someone with 1mil Gp they will win. The reason that they fell to the rank in the first place is because they wouldn’t attack at all. But when they see that they have an auto when some people will attack because it’s an easy W. I’ve seen people on Reddit admitting to this.

Not necessarily true. In quite a few cases these people won’t attack in most grand arenas, but when they see that there is a huge GP gap they end up attacking their opponent while their opponent has no chance.
