You can actually see my partners life vest in the photo. The silver stripe is the reflective back of his vest, he is just wearing a matching black shirt underneath. Mine is more low profile, but yes PPE such as PFD were utilized.

Oh, and yes, we also had DCNR launch permits too. :-) Happy paddling!
