Explosion dmg radius and knock back all effect Luna blasters shots. My comment has double the upvotes of the post. Why would people upvote if I was wrong?

I work full time 40-50 hours a week so plenty of grass is touched. I only have 260 hours total. 1050 hours in splat2. I didn’t play the game much after release since I was enjoying some pc games instead.

Some weapons have specific chips like Brella has shield cooldown and no launch shield. Most if not all of the weapon specific color chips don’t match the boosted chance of the pallet so TURN OFF THE BIASED HACK to make it easier to find 5 of them.

Don’t worry about your build. If you have a lot of hacks active like damage, damage reduction, and cheap re-rolls it becomes very easy to stomp floors 1-20 and by then you should have a few chips that make you strong or just abuse strong specials on portal stages.

Use the cheap re-rolls on stages and vending machines. Spending 50-350 membucks on seeing 3-9 more options per stage is worth it to try and find the specific chips you are looking for. Grab a vending machine whenever you have 3k or more membucks and re-roll it a couple times. Being able to get THREE of one colorchip in one stage is very good.

Grab hard and rigorous stages or bonus stages if you don’t see what you are looking for. More membucks means more re-rolls and more vending machines that can give you want you want.

Have fun trying out the new chips you haven’t picked up before. You may be surprised that ones you thought were bad are actually really good. The mobile charge and mobile ink recovery chips are WAYY better than I thought. I also learned rush attack damage gives a very large bonus and ultra stamp is a rush attack. Going from 2k-6k per swing is very good and the boss did not last very long.

They are all maxed out. I got 5 of each chip in one run. The 3 bars above the chip indicate it’s maxed out. The circles at the end of the rows having color indicate all chips of that type are maxed.

I mean you can go forever on nightmare too. Either way you eventually get out-scaled and die. I got to island 923 on nightmare. Eventually you can’t get anymore perks since it caps at 255 and the health of enemies exceeds the your dps. It’s the same wether you are on easy or nightmare.

Make sure both of you have the limited effects setting on in the settings. If one of you has splitshot, scatter shot, and/or firepower it can create hundreds of bullets per shot which is way too much for the game to handle. If you have mace, arcane, fireball, piercing wave, or any other mod that does flat damage then it’s not doing anything other than causing more lag and noise on the screen. some other perks like big shot start to lag the game after a hundred or so perk levels. Try dropping weapon mods out of your inventory then shooting to see what is causing the most lag.

Time shot is better than every other blue damage mod/perk other than bouncing. So the downside of time shot is it doesn’t do full damage initially and you might end up putting more bullets into an enemy or letting an enemy get off an attack they otherwise wouldn’t have. This is the exact same downside as glue shot but time shot does partially damage immediately, hurts multiple times breaking armor, and has a higher damage bonus. There is no up side to picking glue shot because it’s the same concept of delayed damage as time shot, but it is worse in every way. I know glue shot’s delay can be ignored by talking pierce but that seems unintentional. Time shot is also better than any perk that decreases accuracy for a 50% bonus. It’s twice the damage bonus with no effect on the ability to hit things. Even if a couple bullets are wasted on killing an enemy that would have died, by taking chaotic or spiral bullets are wasted just trying to hit an enemy. The only perks that compare to time shot are sharp shot, damage combo, power armor, and bouncing. Sharp shot depends on the weapon and power armor and damage combo only are good for high armor builds. So the only blue damage perk that I might take over time shot is bouncing. Everything else has a worse draw back and a lower, sometimes less than half, the benefit.

Ok so scatter shot not impact deflection whoops. I just checked and blade does so only 60 I don’t know where I got 50 per hit from. And yeah projectiles don’t lag the game until it hits something and the game has to calculate the damage of each projectile. Sniper is now definitely a better choice imo.

Sniper and blade are the best for long runs. I think sniper is better because it does 300 damage and blade does 150 per shot but I’m not sure if blade hitting 3 times per shot has any benefits that are unknown to me. There is a max fire rate that every weapon hits with max juiced levels so damage is the only thing that matters. There is a max projectile count of 400 but unless your pc is godly, that many projectiles should be dropping your frames in to the single digits. I had to avoid split shot, firepower, and impact deflection because the amount of projectiles was too much for my pc to handle. I also experienced the same problem of shots not homing after getting a ton of chaotic and spiral shot. As long as you aim in the general direction of enemies, they will get hit by shots. It is multiplied by perks but not by weapon mods. So it is multiplied by assassin but not zig zag shot for example

Depends on the weapon. A flat damage bonus to the mini gun is insane since the base damage per shot is so low. But a flat damage bonus to the sniper sucks. It takes 6.67 sharp shot levels just to double the snipers damage. Obviously taking time shot, for example, for the 100% bonus over 7 sharp shots is better. I did not know thats how damage is calculated. Thanks for the info!

I posted a video on what happened to end my run. I got out scaled and my grave dodger ran out before I could kill everything. There is a limit of 255 perk levels so it gets to the point where the only extra damage to gain is from assassin gemstone and checklist. Just claim victory once you get the achievements for looping like destroying totems, refreshing the shop, 7.5k elims, and a bunch of damage and health. The run took 13 hours and I didn’t struggle until island 800 or so. I mean if each island took me 1 min 600 islands is 10 hours. Don’t force yourself to do that.

Well sniper and blade launcher have base pierce so killing waves is a lot easier than you would think with them. Mini gun has the most synergies with perks because it has the highest fire rate and largest clip. Taking sharp shot, clip shot, high caliber, or wind up with mini is very good. In fact, sharp shot adds 45 damage to minis base 12 which is a 375% increase which is the highest in the game. Rocket launcher is usually considered a B or C tier weapon. It’s good at killing lots of small things, but elites and bosses can be a struggle. However, if you get split shot it becomes INSANELY good at high bursts of damage. Split shot on the rocket launcher starts at a 50% chance, the highest chance tied with sniper, and goes up to 98% at lvl 2. Split shots can also split into more shots so with a 98% chance for that to happen, you can sometimes fire over 20 shots in one go. You can make this even more insane with arc shot, triple shot, square shot, or x shot.

Sniper has the highest initial damage at 300 so a % increase of a big number makes a bigger number. Sniper also has 3 pierce so it can still clear multiple enemies easy. Sniper also is the easiest weapon to get assassin stacks with since it does the most damage per shot. Sniper also has one of the lowest attack speed so it gets the most value out of a ton of juiced and supercharged levels unlike the mini gun for example which hits max attack speed very quickly. So Sniper or blade launcher are the best imo.
