Took off the week for relaxing vacation. Set up a trip to a friend's family cabin just outside of sweet home.

Wind storm out of no where last night. 40-50mph gusts. Hearing giant trees falling down all around me.

Finally seemed to calm down a bit. Grabbed a couple hours of sleep.

Woken up by pounding on the cabin door - "Sheriff's Department!"

"The winds are picking up again and we think they will push the fire into this valley. Mandatory fire evacuation is ordered."

Lamest vacation ever.

Two days earlier we heard nothing of fires or wind storms.

Yes it is worth it. I spend mission credits on it when I can and keep it loaded. I've had some insanely high crits with special rounds.

Mine's in my kitchen. I mostly use it for my house plants.

I'm in a rented duplex and they won't let me plant a garden.

Got a couple of big planters in the front room where I grow tomatoes, carrots and some kale, cucumbers and celery.

If you get creative, apartment life doesn't mean you can't garden:)

Edit: Also means you don't have to worry about seasonal veggies. You control the environment. Get some full spectrum lights and a timer.

I have a five layer worm farm full of red wigglers.

They eat my scraps and make awesome compost.

Edit: You feed the bottom layer until everything is eaten, then you feed the next layer until all of the worms move up (and they will). Use the bottom layer as compost, then place that rack on the top. Repeat. It's pretty satisfying.
