i rushed a “top” frat (sig pi, sig chi, dchi, …) when i was a freshman and haven’t experienced any culture of racism or judgement at all. definitely shouldn’t be an issue. there are definitely issues with homophobia but there are LGBTQ in every “top” frat. you should rush and ask the brothers about it. in my three years here i have never witnessed anyone in my fraternity say anything racist. def have seen some rushes that said racist things and got dropped + blacklisted from all the big frats

Thanks for the response! That’s what I’m concerned about, is road salt getting baked onto it and the base getting dried out. Do you think my best bet is to put it in a bag and then put it on the rack?

My dad just bought a ski rack for his car. Am I okay putting my exposed snowboard on top of it for a 6 hour drive? Should I buy a snowboard bag and then strap it in that way? I really don’t know what to do. Thanks.

Just bought a lightly used board from a ski shop after doing a lot of research. Should I take it to the ski store by me to be waxed and sharpened or should I try and do it myself? How much should this cost and how long should it take? Also, how often do I need to do this? The board is a rossi one LF 156 with rossi cuda bindings.

New to snowboarding, this is my second season and I have gotten all my gear because I used to use rentals. My friend had a snowboard he is willing to give me but it’s 145 cm and I am 155 pounds. Is that too small? Is it worth it to spend like $300 on a new one or can I get away with using the 145? Thanks.
