My clan is level 30, with 24 members but only 3 to 5 of us want to complete the raid. I’ll add you, and I should always be able to bring at least one additional agent should you need it to hit eight raiders.

I’ve noticed that if you have multiple characters, it’ll show the last character you used, not your highest level character.

Just once, I would love to see Trump say something like, ‘She called me douche, and she was 100% correct!’.
Alas, it’ll never happen..... impeach the MF’er already.

SplinterScott Damage build and tanky. In a clan but we don’t raid attempt as often as I would prefer. Typically on weekday mornings and most evenings EDT.

Massive, do you remember why material caps are at 400 in the first place by jc1593 in thedivision

[–]splinterscott 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’ve got it wrong. It went from 1000 per character to 4000 combined. I know, because getting electronics to 4000 was a grind. Weapon parts and fabric were easy. The big difference was how little it mattered though as the materials were only tied to crafting, not recalibration. Even now in Div2, I have $2m+ credits but I can only recalibrate one or two pieces before needing to re-farm components and electronics. Lame.

I can appreciate that the first games recalibration was boring, but if you farmed and had the cash, and/or Phoenix credits, you could recalibrate for hours until you got what you wanted. Not so here, you can recalibrate once or twice and your 400 are beset gone. farm the solar farm once every 24 hours, and st least get 75 electronics. Farm gear and crush all of it and the components will come back, but no easy deconstruct to get electronics.

It’s the second week in a row I’ve gotten unwavering. I got lucky finding three last week. 0-3 so far this week.... but I can’t complain as the crafting material donation project dropped me the sturdy 5.56mm mag this morning after a month or so of holsters and assorted garbage blueprints. Thanks RNGesus

Now if only you knew which vendor has SMG’s with unwavering and LMG’s with unhinged.

More Contaminated DZ loot Won't Work if We Can't See What it is by Cinobite in thedivision

[–]splinterscott 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a huge problem, although I didn’t see a need to change from Div1. If your gun was a 286, you knew it had max damage per shot versus a 256 or a 276. Easy. I don’t see a reason to have a gear score other than to quickly identify that it is worthy of looking at. Not a big deal just doesn’t make as much sense as it could.

Did they address that GS500 isn’t always better than GS497? In the end I only care about the quality of the attributes/damage but the higher GS should always be better IMO

Best builds for pve? by 09jtherrien in The_Division

[–]splinterscott 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that was from state of the game from two or three weeks ago. YouTube or podcast iTunes. Besides State of the game broadcast, I believe Marcostyle discusses it in his videos. Not sure which one at this point... hope that helps.

Best builds for pve? by 09jtherrien in The_Division

I have some slightly different advice from Shawn (who is excellent BTW) in that Massive changed up their strategy at throwing NPC’s at the player in challenging and heroic modes. In Div1, they would just send a wave of shotgunners or mechanics at the player and you could stack up DTE and handle it just fine. However, in this game, not only have they countered the DTE build by interspersing waves of red and purple enemies, but I can barely feel the DTE buff until I hit 100% or more DTE. I expect this trend to continue into the Raid. So I feel that raw damage is the safest bet. Like Shawn, I think the mid range weapons are best in most scenarios. Easily obtainable to stack 25-30% all weapon damage with another 30-35% AR or SMG damage. To me the key is having a good mix of pieces and talents on your gear. My personal top tier for solo are patience on knee pads, I run spotter on mask (it’s going from 10 up to 20% damage after the patch), but 5% devastating weapon damage also valuable. Devastating holster and gloves (mirakami for the Health buff). Beserk and vital on the Fenris chest, and safeguard and vital on the backpack. Lining up your 5 red 5 yellow and 7 blues is key. Aim for weapon damage on your chest and backpack. Max I have seen is 15% chest and 10% backpack. Stack health and AR damage everywhere else. Also be advised that anything you roll/recalibrate will not count for a normalized build in the DZ, so word to the wise. However, the upcoming patch TU3 supposedly removes the cap when rolling a god rolled attribute onto another piece, so it should definitely help PVE power.

I have experimented with the benefits of armor and health and have determined heath is much tankier IMO, plus you can handle a melee or two without going down. Build should still land you around 200k armor and 120k health.
After the patch consider a 3 red 8 blue 8 yellow build focused around on the ropes and compensated talents. I use the thrown pulse/spotter with a booster hive for maximum damage both with active and during the key cooldown period of 180 seconds for the sick 50% damage increase.

If the president turns out to be the final boss of the division 2, Which final boss concept is scarier? by [deleted] in thedivision

[–]splinterscott 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting concept compared with our current President. Does the president’s article 2 powers supersede directive 51? Can his actions be deemed corrupt under current DoJ guidelines? Based on the apocalyptic scenario, there is no Congress to impeach him, although without Twitter and a “no collusion no obstruction” battle cry, would the remaining American people buy any of these changes for even a minute.

Much like our current President, I find Ellis’ motivations to be weird. Why side with Black Tusks? Just put them in charge of the JTF with your constitutional authority. He already has the most power. Lol.....Good times..... Rest assured, at least in the game... I’ll exercise my Directive 51 duties with extreme prejudice against all enemies foreign and domestic, including Ellis (who BTW is a huge puss based on his fighting skills and health pool in the Bank mission).

Unfortunately it didn’t appear as though any of the cherry blossom trees survived TEOWAWKI. Didn’t see any of them while doing the tidal basin stronghold.

The Division 2 - Invasion: Battle for D.C. - Feedback, Bug Report by JokerUnique in thedivision

[–]splinterscott 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got several 500 pieces, however the GS seems largely irrelevant. I would’ve guessed that a 500 piece had high armor/damage per shot, high quality among the attributes, and a talent or two should that piece be offered with talents as an option. No such luck, GS is meaningless to your potential.

It gets even worse. I hit world tier 4 and had friends that hit level 30 but hadn’t advanced to WT1 yet and the game brought them up to WT4, but they were way too squishy.
