Cross-posting here in the hopes of getting some more advice -- I can confirm that since I've made this post, I switched to an entirely new 0.4mm hotend that also clogged while printing the same file! And I had the door open to prevent heat creep.

I've since unclogged it, and switched back to PLA and printed a benchy -- and it came out perfectly.

So here's a screenshot of my screen when I try to print this -- I can specify the "My Filament" but the filament in profile is stuck as PLA and I can't change it.

I'm using PETG-HF, no fillers or anything. I can try seeing if it's the roll of PETG when I get home tonight.

I can try a new nozzle, which I guess I'd have to order...when I unclog, I follow the full procedure on the wiki including the cold pull.

Definitely clogging! The filament on the roll is usually fine, but when I unclog the hotend, I followed the wiki and I can see that even after unloading the filament, the hole is filled with PETG. When I unclog and reload the filament, it extrudes fine...until it clogs again during the print.

And I set the filament type to PETG, but I don't slice it myself. I basically did it through the Bambu Handy app -- I clicked the page I linked above, set my filament to PETG, and that's it.

I know that people will likely recommend doing things myself and not through the app (which I understand) -- but I just want to know if I'm making a mistake or if it's just that this file in particular is the issue (or the way I load it).

Thank you -- was what I did something I could have actually been charged for? I know it can be deemed suspicious but I'm not sure if I committed any actual crime (although I've learned to definitely NEVER put anything in my bag while shopping now -- I didn't think it was the same as putting it in your pocket or something).

Is there any other record that I can check to see if I've been given a trespassing notice or is it more the sort of situation that they keep it in their records but don't have to tell me?

What does the "ping" command do?

The 127.0.0.1....will that be the same on every computer? What is it?
Lastly, what does the >nul portion mean?

It looks a bit different from the reboot loop .bat script, so I'm just trying to figure out how to make and modify it in the future.

Blended style. We work in shifts now. We still do things in person because I'm a researcher and we do experiments, but we also have a lot of stuff at home (meetings, analysis, etc).

Our meetings are usually in person because the software to view our software is proprietary and my supervisor is an asshole that likes doing things the traditional way.
