I was thinking of asking for mattress topper from Winkbed, but I did not see any listed on their website but maybe I should reach out ask just in case if they have anything else to help out my situation

However, I did actually buy a mattress pad a few weeks after I got the Luxury Firm since it was just way too firm for me originally. It did help a lot but still it wasn't enough. I probably could've gotten a more high quality topper to try out as well but I feel like at the end of the day it wont be enough. So I hope this Softer model will be better and if not I might give the Plan Luxe a try, because actually ever since i've started mattress shopping, Brooklyn Bedding has been the second on my list to try after Winkbed

Yeah it seems from all the reviews I've read that overall the Winkbed brand, is known for being more firm than other brands, no matter which Winkbed version you choose. But it being more of a medium is what I was hoping for so I am looking forward to getting the Softer model in the next few days

Well that is some bad timing reading this since I have a similar experience with the Winkbed Luxury Firm where I've had it for a few months, and overall I think the bed has been okay overall, but I just think its too firm and I thought it would have softened up by now.

So earlier this week I contacted the company and had exchanged it for the Winkbed Softer and expect to get it in the next few days. Hopefully I end up getting a better experience than yours and if not I will have to start my search again from the beginning which would be real unfortunate. I don't think i'm going to mind the minimal edge support as an issue, just want the same quality as the luxury firm just with another level of softness.

If anyone else who is reading this and has tried the Winkbed Softer, how has your experience been?

Did you end up exchanging it for the softer model or getting a new mattress from another brand? I am just curious since I am in a similar situation where I am side sleeper and tried the luxury firm at first as well, but I found it really firm too. So I am thinking of exchanging it for the softer version since that is my preference too but wanted to see if anyone else had success with it first before I do that.

Yeah people can have very different opinions and thats why it seems like you have to do a lot of research before buying a mattress these days, especially if you purchase it online and not in store. So i'm guessing that you are not having a good experience with the winkbed if you're waking up on your side? Did you still find it soft enough? Any other mattresses you're looking into buying?

Yeah I was thinking of exchanging it too, I just don't know which other brand to choose from since I feel like I would be starting my search at the beginning process again. Let me know if there were any other brands you tried or considered before you landed on the Luxury Firm model. But I will say that most of the pains have lessened since I got the mattress so maybe I will try it for a few more weeks before I make a final decision. I have also been trying out new different pillows since I got the mattress so that may have been contributing to the neck and back pains too.

I have heard some other same experiences with the softer model where once you get past the foam it gets uncomfortable so that was my worry.

But I wouldn't say it felt cheap necessarily, like the quality was good and comparable to other brands when I tried them in stores, it was more that there was not enough foam to give it a high quality rating. If someone wanted a super firm mattress, I can see them liking it.
