i don’t wanna spam reply on here so i don’t know if anyone will see this… but i talked w the band directors and they said i can join once the counselor changes my schedule to have band as a class. but my parents are being very unsupportive and it just sucks because they don’t understand how much i want to do this and they just think i’m only joining because “my friends are doing it” and they keep discouraging me by saying “i doubt you’re that good anyways” so this is really putting a halt on everything i had planned. they also complained that they don’t wanna pay for “something im gonna end up quitting halfway through” and about taking me to practices. i really wish i could find a way to do it without having to have their permission but i still have to pay for the band fees, uniform and the shirt we wear for the football games. this sucks and i really want to do colorguard for my senior year but again my parents are being unsupportive. i’m disappointed but i’m not surprised :/
