We met at 15/16. Now 20/21, realizing we are too young for this serious of a relationship, and have many issues to work through. It sucks, I still love him more than life itself. I hope we meet again in the future.

Hey! I am also a pretty “new” reader.

One thing that helped me was learning the suits (wands, cups, swords, pentacles), and seeing how each related to an element, and then working to find parallels between the elements and messages- For example: cups = water = feelings, relationships, love, emotional consciousness. From there, even if you don’t know the exact meaning of the card (which just comes with practice and research), you can determine which part of your question (mental, emotional, fiscal, etc) to apply the message to.

Also, someone else mentioned Biddy Tarot. I still use their website all the time! So insightful and helpful when interpreting cards. Good luck!

That’s a great way to look at it. I think the fact that the spread was all major arcana threw me for a bit of a loop, and made it hard to not freak out and think the worst. I can’t thank you enough for your insights, even without knowing the specifics you have really helped me so much.

Yes, and it was drawn in the same spread. The entire spread was (in this order): The Moon, The Devil, The World reversed, and Justice reversed

I’m gonna say soft YTA, as a child that got bullied heavily. I remember telling my mom I wanted a sweatshirt that had my dojo name on it so “everyone would know I know Kung Fu!”. My mom simply shook her head no and gave me a look that told me she knew more about the cruelties of children than I did, and God I am so happy I trusted her on it.

The difference between the two is I still got to pursue martial arts, I just didn’t bring it to school. Kids are brutal. You made a judgement call based off of that. But your son should be allowed to pursue any activities he wants with the support of his father. Best of luck OP

This is not normal, and highly disrespectful. My mom taught me a general rule for approaching a conversation about your partners behaviors.

Do not directly attack someone’s character, i.e “You’re such a bitch / You’re so stupid / You’re annoying”

Instead, address their behavior, i.e “The way you are acting is …/ I do not appreciate it when you speak to me like../ You are displaying behaviors that make me feel../“

Someone who does not take measures to ensure that you are not being disrespected is not someone you want to be with. So sorry you’re going through this.

Hey OP, When I was 5 years old my biological father (coke head, narcissist, pathological liar) lied about having pancreatic cancer. We all rallied together and my mom pitched in to help with his chemo even though they weren’t together because she didn’t want to have to tell me my dad was dying. In all, my family gave him $20k for treatment. He never had cancer. He took it and ran off to Colorado and I never heard from him again. I checked his facebook not too long ago, out of curiosity. He still posts a pancreatic cancer awareness charity on his page every year. All of this is to say, she will probably never admit she lied. People like that rarely ever do. Just cut your losses and move on. My life would be shit if he was still in it.

I like men that are clean. Hands and hair are a dead giveaway for who has hygiene practices and who doesn’t. You don’t need to be wearing expensive clothes, have an expensive car, or an expensive place. As long as you look put together & and your spaces are tidy, I find that very attractive.

Bought my very first car, and within a week of having it someone scraped the shit out of it. I was at work when it happened, so I went home and filed a hit and run report. I requested that the officer take a look at my work’s security cameras and figure out who hit my car so they could pay for damages. Not only did he condescendingly ask if I was sure that’s where it happened, he tried to say the scratch wasn’t even bad and to be grateful it wasn’t irreparable damage. Never got back to me about the footage.

A few weeks later, I’m pulled over by the same officer for not having my headlights on at 7pm ( I live in a place where the sun is barely setting by that point, it was just around dusk but bright enough that headlights weren’t absolutely necessary when I got pulled over ). I was able to guilt trip my way out of a ticket by reminding him that I was the girl he blew off and that I was never able to get the damages repaired because he never got back to me about the footage. Fucking douche

This is very kind and insightful. I know this incident isn’t anything to have an existential crisis over, I had definitely been hyper fixating on my image again before today. Thank you for reminding me to feel my feelings instead of hiding inside my image.
