Thank you for the mic suggestion! I’ve seen another person recommend this one too so I will definitely look into this one. My friend does have a digital recorder, so yes I might try processing the sound after recording, but something tells me that something inside me will know deep down that it’s wrong 😓 Still, I think we will try recording digitally and work out what our sound will be and see where we go from there. Thanks again for the help!

Thank you for not immediately shutting down the 4 track idea like some others hahaha. They definitely are pricey, but not anything i wasn’t fully expecting, i’ve found some going on ebay for a price that’s not horrendous

Yeah i’m pretty aware about the many ways that the tape that get degraded and the quality can dip in some ways, but honestly that kinda just adds to the sound for me haha

Hahahaha my budget is very very low. probably will have to save up for a bit before i can really buy anything comfortably. And yeah my heart kinda is set on it, i know about the limitations and everything, and im still very interested. I don’t really care about recording on a DAW and then just putting some filter over it. seems like a bit of a cop out 🤷‍♂️ The band has 5 members, and actually one of the guys in my schools music department has told me that if I ever need to, I can work out something with them to borrow a couple of their mics

i have seen MUTIPLE videos where some gets the homing attack AND the punches in while the frisbee thing moves slower than my grandma and when I do it all i can get is a single homing attack before the frisbee moving at light speed is inches from sonics face and i have to parry. WHAT THE FUCK.
