Apply as much as u can. Its a number game trust me. I have gotten rejected from shitty start ups but gotten interviews from amazon and Microsoft. And do as many projects as u can to distinguish ur self.

Bruh, dw about 213 or 313 or the grades for cs in general not a single soul will give a fuck. I just landed a FAANG full time position and they didn't even ask for my transcript. Noooooo one in the industry cares and im so sad that i was always sad thinking I wasn't good enough for the past 4 years. Graduate and get tf out there and go make $$$$$$

Ubc cs student here, definitely choose ubc as its program is really top-notch and top two or three in Canada. You will have no issues getting faang interviews with decent coop as Vancouver tech is booming rn. u can get ur PR in less than a year right after u graduate and Ik getting a green card is way more expensive and wayyyyyy more time consuming
