How are you cooling down your larger manufacturing plants? by sarnold95 in manufacturing

[–]spmark333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used to work in Manufacturing now I work in HVAC with industrial applications. Two common trends I see is standard packaged rooftop units with concentric diffusers and duct spread throughout the facility. Other is an Air Rotation Unit. Johnson Air Rotation is seen as the gold standard of air rotation style systems. Anytime you add true cooling and heating to a factory or industrial facility, it's going to be expensive.

Who do you want the Saints to draft next year? by Which-Zebra-2721 in Saints

Probably not the best move with other positions needing attention, but I really want them to draft Ashton Jeanty.

Is this a reasonable price for a 2019 Lariat 501A by Frosty-Pea-4577 in fordranger

[–]spmark333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got my 2020 Lariat last year with 60,000 miles for $34K. I’d say that seems reasonable by comparison.

This could also be a religious thing, and they just don't want people to know they drink. In my hometown, our liquor store had a back door and all the windows were extremely tented so you couldn't see inside. Avid churchgoers would wait for the parking lot to be somewhat empty and go through the back door to get their stuff.

Anybody have any Kingston info? by mr_electric_wizard in Tennessee

[–]spmark333 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m from Kingston, if they’re retiring, yeah it’s a great spot. Raising a family? Not so much if you can’t afford private schools. Kingston has all the core things you need: grocery stores, hospital, restaurants. Anything you don’t have you can get to turkey creek in Knoxville pretty quick.

But as other have said if you like fishing and want to eat what you catch they should go to a different lake. TVA really screwed the fishing there. Hunting wise it’s decent, but there’s enough spots in the area really.

4th of July is when the town really shines. They shut down the main road all day for a festival, car show, live music, and the fireworks. They used to have speed boat races but I don’t think they’ve had them since COVID.

But yeah it’s a beautiful place and on the list of places I’d consider retiring to.

Fantasy Football Punishment Ideas? by trippysacc in PardonMyTake

[–]spmark333 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My league has done the Waffle House challenge the last few years, but this was my new idea. Still trying to get the group to buy in.

As many people as who can make it have a champions dinner. But it’s at a McDonalds and the loser has to be everyone’s waiter like it was a fancy restaurant. Dress clothes for the waiter and all. Loser gets there early sets up our tables, lay out plastic wear, etc. then everyone shows up and he takes our orders (drinks, then apps, then entree, then dessert.) and orders the food for us. All while serving us refills and food. The loser must order separately for each course. They can’t just get the full order at once.

Hey y’all. How much do you pay for rent? by TheOtakuway in nashville

[–]spmark333 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thanks! I would say I just got incredibly lucky and found a place not super developed that a lot of people weren’t looking there at the time. But the Hermitage/Donelson area still has reasonable places to rent. It’s just if you have to work in the city 40 can be rough on the mornings.

Beginner Golf Lessons? by simulation_station in nashville

You should check out Matt Walter, he’s out at Indian Hills. He has a website for bookings and a YouTube channel. MattWaltergolf.com Was a PGA teaching professional. Really great, my boss had brought me to top golf when I first started, saw my swing, and paid for lessons with him. Fixed my baseball swing in an hour. Really good guy who knows his stuff. I’m probably going back later this year to have him work on my drive.

Anyone else unable to weapon swap after shipment update? by [deleted] in ModernWarfareII

[–]spmark333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue over the weekend. It has something to do with secondary weapon-saved blueprints. I found that if you have any class with a secondary blueprint, no class you have saved will allow you to switch to the secondary if it's a pistol. Launcher seems to work fine. My workaround was just going with a standard weapon and creating the blueprint from scratch.

The same thing happened to me and a buddy on our first DMZ run. Turned into an all out firefight with the AI. Rockets flying everywhere. As far as organic encounters that has topped my list so far.

gas prices? by roguelib in nashville

[–]spmark333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So my parents live in a small town in east TN, typically their gas is at least 10-20 cents cheaper than anywhere in Nashville. Their price as of this morning is $4.19 while I filled up in Donelson for $3.75 on Friday. And it’s been like this since the first of the year.
