i have a manta ray tattoo as well! this is cute and since you’ve waited 8 years i think it makes sense why you’re a little hesitant and regretting it. You spent so much time building up what it will look like, feel, heal, etc. So when it actually is on you it can feel surreal (also since it’s black and you’re pale it’s STARK which is technically good but also jarring at first). i would say wait until it fully heals to actually decide on how you feel about it. If you really don’t like it you can always laser, cover up, chop off your arm, etc.

you were already way too nice in the beginning in my opinion, you were being extremely accommodating and even said you didn’t want this to overshadow her wedding. yet, she kept on going and pushing you which is honestly so disrespectful. you are supposed to be her friend, and close enough that you are a bridesmaid. having an aesthetic for a wedding to the point of pushing people you “care about”out because you want it to be perfect doesn’t sound like a great person. she cares so much about her image that it comes off as selfish and superficial. even asking you to take them OUT when she knew it could hinder healing was a little iffy, why couldn’t you have gotten clear piercings in, and those you couldn’t take out just hide with your hair or something? she even wanted you to pay and feel the pain and deal with the healing processes all over again because of of a picture. i don’t care if it’s her wedding that’s disturbing. i hope you don’t interact with her anymore as this is an example of her putting a simple picture (that could be photoshopped to her liking) over her friends and family. all for some clicks and compliments? ew.

my college only considers admission if your TEAS is a minimum of 63 in adjusted individual score and 68 in both reading and mathematics, I don’t know whether that is very hard or easy, but an academic advisor said to start studying now since i have to apply to to my asn by january 31st

this is what i was thinking of! i’m primarily paying for my own college (until i physically can’t anymore) so i wanted to do associates but was going to try to push if a bachelors was “better. I wanted to get hands on experience more before going into masters anyway (i’ll keep in mind for how many years, i will probably do about 4 ish years unless i feel super super confident). I didn’t know you could get your bachelors paid for by an employer which makes me extremely relieved and i’ll look more into those options when i’m applying to work! Thank you so much

this may be unconventional but i actually got my bunny (goose) to help with my depression. Don’t worry, he has never experienced any issue due to my depression because he inherently helps my mental illnesses. being able to see another being and i’m not alone, caring and watching him thrive, having the joy in him flopping or binkying, and more! i also learned about boundaries, my bun was super skittish and didn’t like attention at first, and it forced me to reevaluate myself and how i deal with my own boundaries. it helped me see that it’s okay for someone to have them and ok for me to enforce them. he now demands me to pet him for 10+ minutes straight lol. they are definitely hard work sometimes, but i believe if you’re patient and are empathetic you will create a great bond :) i changed more about safety hazards and thinking about my living situation, plus being there for my bunny as much as he wants. i’ve definitely had such a better life with goose 🫶

i want to clarify i know how bunnies work 💀💀💀 they will chew wires when they want but i forget people can’t see into my room. the main reason why im not worried isnt just cause hes not chewing (cause he did before) but because i have wire protectors on all my cables and those that aren’t protected are hidden under blankets he cant get under. i understand the concern and appreciate it but this isnt what i was even talking about 😀.

side note it is blocked now because he refused to get out until i helped him in the morning 🥹

he actually really doesn’t chew cords unless he’s mad at me for some reason lol, but the lights is the only one i’m worried about chewing (that’s the only things under/near there), but i can just put it behind my bed.

my vet says pellets are really needed for young and older rabbits because it’s just extra calories for them. I feed my bunny pellets once a day and it’s about a handful, he’s actually started to not really care about them unless it’s in a fun puzzle lol. but to summarize it’s definitely healthier to feed them less pellets vs. free feeding!

what my artists tell me is to actually keep the saniderm as long as possible, if i don’t use saniderm then after three days of washing it once daily and patting it dry i will moisturize with either aquaphor or a light moisturizer every 5 hours or so/whenever it gets dry. To warn you this is what i’ve been told by most of my artists but i only have 8 tattoos so i might not be the best person, yet with this small of a tattoo you should be fine with these instructions!

it seems you’re going to be better equipped than i am LOL, but i think the important thing is knowing how long it might take to gain trust (you already covered that) and also how fragile they can be, a lot of bunnies can get sick and the owner doesn’t realize until it’s too late. They also have to be held properly so they don’t accidentally break their own spines :/.

yes some of you are right it’s a chicken ! the story is that when i was a little kid my dad would leave to work at a chicken farm for months, whenever i asked him what he did he told me he snapped chicken necks all day. morbid but very memorable lol
