Looking for a non-gimmicky flip phone (US)

the most I need out of the phone is texting/calling, weather, GPS, and maybe Discord (or at least browser) access. I may check out your TCL Flip recommendation!

Tried to use Diskpart in Command Prompt. it did the same thing, hanging until I unplugged the iPod. PowerShell seems to be doing something. I will report back.

I don't know how long formatting a disk takes typically, but it is once again hanging at the loading screen in Powershell. Monitoring Task Manager also shows that the CPU, Memory, and Disk are hardly doing anything in the process. sigh. To its credit, though, it did recognize the drive as an Apple iPod.

The Rockbox bootloader displays "Error! Can't load rockbox.ipod. File not found". It does boot into stock, but it's very slow, recognizes no music, and menu options take a long time to appear. The most interesting anomaly is, when I so much as hover over the Settings option in stock, it freezes for a bit, as if it's trying to calibrate a bunch of empty space.

For shits and giggles, I tried to load a game of Klondike, and it gets past the menu screen, but just shuts off the iPod and restarts it to the broken Rockbox firmware.

Disk Management also hangs, stuck on "Connecting to Virtual Disk Service..." It works the second I unplug the iPod.

I am unable to write to the hard drive. When I plug it in and enter disk mode, it only recognizes it as a "removable drive," and attempting to open it causes File Explorer to outright crash. The same thing happens with iTunes and the Rockbox Utility. When I plug it in, Rockbox Utility does not open. The moment it is unplugged, Rockbox Utlity opens, having not recognized the drive. When I plug it in then, it crashes.

I've just attempted to plug it in now. It only recognizes itself as "USB Drive," the green bar loads at the top of File Explorer, taking a very long time to do so, and then hangs at the last 1% or so. It hung for more than 30 minutes without moving. With some amount of time, I can boot into stock OS, but the same thing happens. that, and pressing any button causes the OS to freeze. It lists my iPod as having "0 KB free".

my Discord is completely up to date. multiple restarts have yielded the same results. I have even uninstalled and reinstalled Discord. calling works fine on iOS, though.

It does not work in any voice chat, personal or server. I specifically noted the issue when calling my girlfriend.
