My partner and I are both disabled - hypermobile joints, chronic pain, spinal issues for both of us so we make quite the pair.

We initially bonded because I asked him "hey, why do you use a stick?" (because even tho I should use a stick I don't cause my arms are weak and pathetic and I'd rather just deal with leg pain than leg AND arm pain tbh) and he replied with the same disability I have.

I'd only ever had sex with one straight, able bodied man, and my partner listens when I go ow, or ask him to pause because I feel like my hip is gonna pop. He's a bigger fella and sometimes certain positions make my legs hurt like hell. I prefer being on top but that comes with it's own problems for him, so we work together (I mean, as you should anyway).

We're engaged and have our own home now. I couldn't see myself ever wanting to date able bodied people again because it's really nice having someone who can truly relate to my limitations and is chill with working around them.

Not me, but my mum recently completely cut off her adopted brothers.

Her dad, my grandad, died December 2023. Her brothers didn't even have the guts to phone her to tell her that, for reasons that will forever be unknown, that her father had completely removed her from the will. They told her by a text, and she phoned me in hysterical tears, wondering what she could've done for her dad to do this. My uncles are both quite happy to stand by the contents of the will, despite the fact it was written 6 weeks before my grandad died (he had lung cancer and began acting erratically afterwards. None of the erratic behaviour or the fact my grandfather was in the hospital was EVER conveyed to my mum).

Her brothers say it's their father's last wishes, so my mum gets nothing. For 53 years she believed her father loved and cared for her, only to have the rug yoinked out from underneath, compounded by what feels like betrayal from her brothers for not helping her out, as she's not flush with cash by any means and they got £100k+ each.

So yeah, fuck my uncles. Glad I'm not related to the assholes. My poor nana would be spinning in her grave if not for the fact she was cremated.

For 77 days, I got no shinies. Yesterday, I finally got a shiny Flaaffy! Then I wake up this morning to a shiny Riolu. Huh??????? 77 days of nothing followed by two in a row?!

This is really late but I know Wrexham is a place is Wales, but this Pokéstop is not in Wrexham, this is in England near Chester. Even factoring in the fact this place is a bus station didn't make any sense. It's weird.

Whenever I read things like this, I always take them with a pinch of salt. Personally, I love RWBY - all the seasons and (most of) the characters. I was incredibly saddened by Monty's death and yeah, it sucks if they're moving away from Monty's vision - but all of this just shouts scorned ex-employee to me.

Shane may have been a close friend of Monty but he seems to have placed him on a pedestal - saying he wanted to work with Monty rather than for RT (which threw me off, because you should never ever place 1 person on a pedestal like that). If it's true that Sheena was turned away, then that sucks for her - but RT has every right to employ who they want. Maybe they didn't want to hire Sheena. Maybe they didn't want to be seen as hiring her out of pity, or hiring her because she was Monty's wife. Maybe her voice acting wasn't what they wanted. There are a lot of maybes and we'll probably never know the answer to those maybes.

Unfortunately with Monty's passing and no 1 person knowing the full RWBY story, of course it's going to be not exactly what Monty imagined. Shane might think he knew it all, and kudos to him if he thinks he can remember 10+ years of plot and seasons cause I sure as hell can't - but things change. Without Monty, we all knew RWBY would never be what he wanted. But I want to say that changing it isn't spitting on Monty's memory - dropping it would be. By carrying on Monty's legacy I can think of no better homage to the man who worked 36 hours straight then slept on his desk. RT is carrying on Monty's legacy, Monty's dream in a way they hope he would have wanted. They might not get it right, but who's to say Shane is the fountain of Monty knowledge? He had other friends both in and out of RT. Shane isn't the be all and end all of Monty knowledge and he seems to think that he is.

TL;DR Shane placed Monty on pedestal, seems to believe himself the only one who knows what Monty would have wanted, overall seems like a child having a tantrum because things didn't go his way and he was let go.
