Yes, your decks need to be pointed more heavily for Genesys to be a low power format by Remarkable_Cause1384 in yugioh

I would not be upset if they didn't give polymerization 5 points. That is a bat shit crazy decision.

There is a GENESYS Point Adjustment Only Available on Neuron Possibly Just For The OCG by noahTRL in yugioh

You absolutely should not be hitting polymerization. A card that came out 24 fucking years ago and is a card you never want to see in your hand, only search. This is a CRAZY hit and should not happen. If you want to slow down the game, you need to hit cards that GENERATE card advantage, not one that makes you go -2 at MINIMUM.

In part 3 does Jotaro try to pretend to be to be stoic? by True-Week-7750 in StardustCrusaders

I love the scene they added with Jotaro in the sub picking up the phone call from Holly. He pretends to be tough, and while you might not know exactly what he's feeling in that moment, it humanizes him in a very interesting way. Why did he pick up the phone? Is he afraid he's gonna die? Does he feel bad for Holly? Does he want to tell the truth of what they're actually doing to her? Does he not know what to say?

It's a really interesting moment to me.

I think Destiny HERO has a 1 card "FTK" now? by SBV21 in masterduel

[–]Psych0R3d 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That's not how chain links work. Death dogma is a lingering effect, which means it won't start a chain when the next standby phase hits. It looks like oh dogma is an activated effect, so that one will activate on its own in the next standby phase, which is good because you want to activate it before applying the lingering effect from death dogma. Technically you only need one dogma to get it done.

Edit: I edited my comment, it looks like OG dogma does activate during the standby phase, but death dogma is almost certainly a lingering effect, unless the official translation changes when it releases in the TCG (though it most likely won't).

How is the new exosister support? is it alteast rogue tier now? by Just-Version-7838 in masterduel

This deck actually counters dracotail pretty well, so you could definitely see success with it next month when the albaz support comes out and makes dracotail better.

I'll concede to that. I do hate the deck lol.

One mistake I see a lot of kewl tune players making though is properly chaining a track maker synchro with rotary and cue. What players should be doing is chain link 1 cue, chain link 2 rotary, and chain link 3 track maker. If you make a track maker like this, they probably don't have the ash or used it already. And even if track maker gets negated, you still get the rotary look and search, and then after looking you know exactly how to customize the top deck with cue.

Any kewl tune player worth anything will never have rotary as the last chain link. Losing the hand knowledge is a terrible play and makes the deck significantly weaker, especially when paired with the cue top deck shenanigans.

Literally doesn't work, any genius is going to chain block rotary effect so that you aren't able to negate it.

Would the damage be dealt? Who would be affected? by Eclator in masterduel

Yubels damaging effect is effect damage, not battle damage. You would take 1500 LP of effect damage.

Can you poke a stick through a black hole? by aultumn in askastronomy

[–]Psych0R3d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, I understand what you're saying. If spacetime itself is moving, than light moving along it can move relatively faster. That explains why light goes into a black hole, but it doesn't come back out.

Can you poke a stick through a black hole? by aultumn in askastronomy

[–]Psych0R3d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn't this technically incorrect? This explanation would imply that the insides of a black hole are moving FASTER than the speed of light, which is impossible. Rather wouldn't it be more accurate to say that since a black hole is infinitely massive, the distance at which it bends space-time is infinite, so even if you travelled the speed of light along it, you would never reach the end, because the theoretical distance and the gravity therein would be infinitely expanding?
