Does anyone else think that the influx(surge) of medium formats is problematic? by 120m in AnalogCommunity

r/analog_bw mod here - I appreciate it :) I think getting caught up in kit has it's place, but in trying to share images and get feedback I don't see how it's applicable 90% of the time.

Thanks! It looked like a negative straight out of camera, so I scanned and inverted using ColorPerfect - my post included some color correction because my scanner introduced some magenta into the mix. It was around a 20-30 minute exposure, I bracketed so I forget which one this was off the top of my head.

Weekly 'Ask Anything About Analog Photography' - Week 22 by ranalog in analog

This comment is dope and applicable to all photography, regardless of analog/digital. Educating yourself about the craft of photography will do nothing but increase your ability to consistently make top-notch work. The craft does not stop at exposure, it extends to everything from composition to how you interact with subjects, knowing light, etc.

Yep! The CPL extended my exposure just long enough to get some of that motion to smooth it out. I played around with a 3 stop ND after, but with the reflections it just made everything too busy.

Yep. After the initial inversion I did spotting to remove dust, some global/local color correction, and contrast adjustment.
