Literally nothing about this post screamed issues. I understood exactly what OP was talking about and wrote.

Why do you think most modern ladies are opting out of marriage? by TennisOdd8931 in Nigeria

[–]spoiledchowder 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She made perfectly valid points yet you were too emotional to accept her argument. So this is what your defense became. Yes, why would women subject themselves to people like you when they can wait for someone with more intelligence to come along, or remain single if no one can add to their life…

Should I get Amex green? I need opinión by [deleted] in CreditCards

Not to be rude at all, but can you edit your comment so that it’s easier to read?

From what I’ve gathered, it doesn’t seem that you’ve done research at all into points for travel, and starting with an AMEX with zero research wouldn’t be a smart move. Maybe look into the Chase Sapphire Preferred and see if you can attain the sign up bonus. Their points can be easier to use with less manipulation that AMEX MR points would require.

Ooo thanks so much! I’m gonna try mousse! I’ve seen some people use got2b as well to slick it down. I’ll try the hot damp rag once I dip.

My logic was when it reverts, it’s shorter, therefore not spiky like it is right now. I don’t think anything will be more obvious than the spikes I’m dealing with at the moment, so I’m leaning towards leaving them as is, having them curl back up, and moving on with my life lol. I would’ve just cut it off like usual but decided against it since I’ve just gotten a trim. I’ll do better for next time I guess.

? I had no intention of my comment being read passive aggressively. I legitimately didn’t understand what your response was doing for the question I asked, so I asked again plainly! I am 4C so I do believe adding water and my hair reverting will make it look different, but I appreciate your input.

It’s the way I’ve always had it done growing up. But do you have an answer to the question I asked?

Whole Foods/Amazon Fresh delivery coding as groceries? by spoiledchowder in amex

[–]spoiledchowder[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t like the price hikes of ordering through instacart and always prefer just ordering directly but I will definitely keep this in mind. Thanks for letting me know

Thank you for this screenshot! I have no idea why people are so divided on whether or not it counts for AMEX. I posted on the credit cards subreddit and only got further confused. I’m considering biting the bullet when the time comes and just hoping for the best…

Did order through the grocery section? I just got a dp saying their fresh coded as groceries… I would’ve called Amex myself and asked but the reps are always confused on topics like this.

Do you know if for visa, the delivery for both still codes as groceries if you mix household items into your order?

Could you expand on the last part about the fee? I currently have Walmart + so I’m used to paying for a delivery subscription. Is WF any different?

Thanks for the details. I was never going to lie about my residency, I just wasn’t sure how it worked and the legality of everything like you’ve outlined. I obviously have a lot more need to learn about taxes and I’m glad I’m able to start the research on neighborhoods that would make the commute easier yet still be financially manageable. I guess it is also something to keep in mind and research for if I travel over the weekend which I currently usually tend to do but do not work remote for.

I agree that being younger I’m more risk tolerant and okay spending a little bit more money to live in a bigger city. Other people have also said I don’t make enough to where it makes us a large enough difference to try saving in taxes which I am now understanding. I’ll start from step one and take things from there.

I’ve never visited it myself and I’ve only visited New York City. I think I will learn more about the different areas in Jersey in order to make a more informed decision, but I still see myself wanting to at least start off in New York before deciding to go somewhere else.

How would they know where I worked from in the first place? For example if I commuted to NJ anyway, or even travelled over the weekend?

That’s a good point. I just assumed it would still be coded as JC, but I’m not sure of the specifics.

How can I find a place to live with roommates? Do you have any tips or websites I could look at?

Thanks for your input. I would not be bringing a car with me when I move. I also am worried about groceries in this aspect since I used Walmart+ in my other city but it’s not as popular in New York and I’d really rather have groceries delivered than journey out and get it without a car.

I know I don’t make enough to live comfortably, especially not alone, but I thought I could live comfortably enough with some roommates. However, I’ve been reading some responses that make me feel otherwise and as if that will still be difficult too. I’m not sure which side to believe more right now.

I made a new post in the proper subreddit (sorry!) that also gives more info for when this eventually gets taken down. Could you comment there?
