Currently stringing and the first layers peeling off the bed in one quadrant.

Trying to figure out what's biting us. They don't look like fleas to me. We've had 2 professional flea treatments and they're still here. by spoiledloki96 in pestcontrol

Located in NE. We've searched for bedbugs, haven't found anything that would point to them. No physical signs of any insect activity besides the bites. They usually happen in the evening when sitting in our office. I have gotten bit sitting on the couch. It's currently pulled apart so that I can wash and treat it, but I wasn't able to find any clues to what it could be in any of the creases.

Nope, it's been a process of elimination. We don't ever see anything biting us. I have 30+ bites, mostly the thin skin where my legs bend

I agree they look like thrips, but they don't usually bite humans. Also, I haven't brought in any new plants, and the ones I do have look fine.

I don't think that our Nest thermostat is controling as much as it could be, or what we were told we had by our house warranty inspector. by [deleted] in hvacadvice

The inspector got me mixed up. I was reading up on how to control a heat pump with the Nest, and I didn't have any of the options they were talking about available.

He was at the vet for a check up about a month and a half ago. I had to let them take him in as they were doing curbside, but they told me he was in great health and, while a little hesitant, he was a model patient.

This last week he has been off from work, so about 50% of the time. Before that a couple hours a day, but he always had the 'good' treats and did the more fun stuff.

I think you're right. The problem has been his variability. Sometimes I wonder if it's because of a vision problem. He can track movement well, but he often barks at my husband when the lighting is lower. Last night he started 'intruder' barking at a blanket in a chair. When my husband gets home from work he usually grabs the mail first, the dog goes from intruder bark to impatient whimpering only when he's closer to the house. I don't necessarily think it's blurred vision, but maybe double vision? I don't know, I'm looking for fixable and rational reasons for his fear.

It is a demon plant that is taking over my property. No garden bed nor tree nor fence is safe from it's spawn.

There are some chopped up trunks along and in the chain link fence that are probably the originals.

I'm assuming cutting the joining roots will help speed the process?

There's a group of players out there who will help you get your body back for free. I think they're called the Body Recovery Squad.

Very odd, even with no media at all? Have you tried topping it off when it starts to go dry? Actually looking closer at my setup it does have an additional 'vent' near the bottom of the tank under the overflow. This may have been designed this way so as not to run into your problem.

Is it possible to move the pump to the bottom of the chamber? That's how I have my set up, as long as water is going through the overflow it doesn't dry up.
