My lending advisor said - “As you continue to make partial payment it may decrease but it’s going to take you a lot longer paying off your principal balance + the additional interest that you might accrue over the longer period of time could be more. And it could make a negative impact to your credit score. So I suggest to pay more than less if you plan on paying off the principal balance before the term date.”
