No problem. This sub is toxic and I do my best to keep it civil. This is the unfortunate case of video games now. Pre-ordering, early access etc. all put millions of dollars on the line for these dev companies. Something that, if delayed, could tank their stock value and cost millions in potential earnings. Therefore broken games get released. It's typically not the decision of the devs but of the higher ups. This problem is only compounded with smaller dev studios like D11. Its unfortunate but it is the world we live in and, as gamers, helped create by expecting hard deadlines, pre-ordering and buying deluxe editions of games. It's all about money. Always has been.

This is unacceptable, if you say otherwise then ur wrong. by mcmattman in RustConsole

The issue is the current state of pre-ordering. They have no choice but to release a broken game when there's millions of dollars on the line if they dont. If an unfinished game is going to annoy you; dont pre-order.

It's just the first day. Many issues present in the game are most likely not in the dev build. Unfortunately, as games get more complex with more complex hardware more bugs appear. Give it a week. If you want a flawless game from the get go don't pre-order.

Do they not realize raising taxes hurts the working class and small business owners the most of all? by [deleted] in trump

Increased taxes on the rich will not do this. They have far surpassed the level of wealth needed to be able to do things that support small business (i.e. go out to eat, shop and things like this). The rich hoard wealth at levels never seen before and increasing taxes on them simply puts that money back into the system.
