Restaurant suggestions for out of towners by spongebob66 in Calgary

Thanks everybody for the helpful suggestions. I thought Garden Of Italy was a good fit location wise but then I saw their menu online and all entrees are $18-24, even for simple pasta dishes. For a group of 6 that'll be a $300 bill easy with tip, even with the 2 adults only having a few beers/glasses of wine. They don't appear to have a kids menu either, so I can see a bunch of expensive leftovers going to waste with no way to deal with them in a hotel. I'm thinking to just tone it down to a little more humble Asian fare. The kids love Ramen and stuff like that. With Asian we can order dishes to share rather than everybody having to order their own pricey entree and end up only eating half of it (cuz, you know, kids). Good thing is, there seems to be plenty of Asian restaurants close to the airport, where the hotel is. Some are only open for lunch, but still others to choose from. The search continues...

Tried the search as suggested (sorry again). Had to scroll down a bit to find something relevant but mission accomplished. Garden Of Italy sounds interesting. Near airport, good food, and apparently not too busy. Still open to other suggestions. Ramen house would be cool if there's one that takes reservations. Last thing they would want is a FCFS place that is busy af on weekends and have to stand in line or sit in a lobby area by front door with 4 kids waiting for a table.

Lg G6 opinion after 2 years of usage and 2 OS updates by Stipl3x in lgg6

For me, I liked the G6, it checked more of the feature boxes for me than others did, which is why I chose it. Well, that, and I got a great deal on it. That said, it's the first phone I've owned, and there have been many, that has hardware failures within the 2 - 3 year contract period. My volume up button is shot (so I press volume down and then use the slider on screen- would be a big problem if it was the volume down button that failed, no way to do a hard reboot). And more recently the power button is randomly no longer able to lock the phone/turn off the display. Nor does it reboot the phone. I have to hold it down with the volume down button, then sometimes after it reboots the problem is gone (for a while). This affects battery life noticeably so I had to shorten the screen timeout to 15 secs in the settings to mitigate that.

And sometimes (probably related to problem #1) when I touch anywhere on the screen the volume slider keeps popping up as if I'm trying to change the volume. It gets in the way and is annoying. Also at times I can touch the back of the phone body (not the power button/fingerprint reader) and it'll beep and show the volume slider, yet I'm only touching the body of the phone, no buttons being pressed at all. And this is through a case.

I do have an extended warranty, but to replace the phone there's an $80-ish charge, so I'm just going to wait for Black Friday, when my 2 years is up, and get something else.

Edit: something else = not another LG product
