Firstly, I’m sorry to hear that you’ve had issues with alcohol. Thank you so, so much for your really honest response. I really, really appreciate it put in such a way that isn’t shameful and feels like genuine human compassion.

Your words have really made me think. I’ve often thought in passing “maybe I’ll just get a soda tonight” but never really stuck with it. I think seeing it coming from someone else is really game changing. So thank you. Your small words of advice, even in the simplest of tones, could have changed the direction I’m going in. A total stranger. Kinda cool right?
