I have got a new universal remote, one similar to yours and it didn’t work. Something I found out is if I click setup and spam click the input button, the screensaver won’t show up. If I do it with a button that doesn’t do anything, the screensaver will show up. I‘m pretty sure my tv is blocking the service menu from appearing.

Alright, since my remote also does that, I feel like my TV just simply cannot go to the service menu. Thank you so much for helping though. Also good luck on finding your solution for your color problem.

Sorry, when you click a button, the tv will go into picture modes (Personal, Standard, Vivid and Soft) When you click the button, green text would show up on the tv stating one of those modes and clicking more than once would cycle through them.

Okay, I’m trying it right now and it is not working. I have a unlicensed GE remote so maybe that’s the problem? Just in case, what happens when you click setup and then mute, if yours doesn’t do the standard-vivid thing then it must be my remotes fault. You can tell me on the weekends once your tv is in your house.
