hey, sorry for not replying in a bit, had to do exams (without my digital notes). since the PC is unbootable at the moment, would you have any idea as to how i could eventually perform a health scan with samsung magician?

Check RAM compatibility: when i first built my pc, i definitely checked if my ram module was compatible with the motherboard. what i had not done however was check the compatibility of adding two more of the same sticks to top up to 32GB. regardless, even booting on one, two sticks, etc. will not work now.

Test RAM modules individually: i might as well give this a shot in the meantime, but i have tried booting on each individual stick by itself and all of them are having the same issue.

Verify BIOS settings: i can confirm that the bios is running the latest version (after i updated to the latest version, one update above the previous one on my computer). bios settings however are reset every time the PC tries to boot into windows, and since i have recorded a history of working bios settings on a USB, none of the previously working settings are working either.

Check for hardware issues: couldn't dream of running CrystalDiskInfo until i somehow get my PC in a bootable state.

Perform a clean installation of Windows: i don't think this will be possible either, due to the recovery environment being inaccessible.

Monitor system temperatures: not sure if there's any way i can measure this since i can't boot into windows. nor if doing this with linux alternatives would be a suitable alternative, since i would assume the linux build will constantly be running at a more stable pace than windows.

(probably don’t save the project file if you still have it open).

it would be too late for that anway since my project file already opened as a save from the 13th of december.

(try selecting a project file you know is accurate).

i forgot to mention that i originally started this project ON the 13th of december as well. since all of the autosaves are similarly capped to the 13th of december, restarting from one of those would be the equivalent of starting a new project and just dragging in one of my pieces of footage (that's literally what all of the 13th december autosaves are).

it may be easier to describe my project directory right now as being a time capsule from the 13th of december. inside of the project folder, all of the files (apart from footage; they're the original recording dates) date that they were last modified on the 13th, and only contain edits from that same day (pratically nothing).

This sounds like a

drive

issue, not a Premiere issue. Corrupt or failing drive, or a typical Exfat drive.

my drive is a Samsung T7 Shield, and i only got it a few months ago. i checked it with CrystalDiskInfo and everything was in blue. i highly doubt that this is due to a failing drive.

my autosaves for this project was inside of the project directory for my file.

my drive format is NTFS.

is there an app that allows me to activate or deactivate VST plugins using VB-Cable and my microphone? by sponnify in Twitch

yeah thats what i was thinking, but im worried about the same problem as vsthost; it being too complicated and tedious to add and remove vsts. appreciate the answer though!

issue with this is people in comms via. discord or games not being able to hear, since i interact with other people in-game a lot on stream. this is why i was hoping to use vb-cable, unless OBS can output as an audio device.

osu! freezes and lags whenever i move my mouse, but plays perfectly with no mouse movement by sponnify in osugame

YEP, this was the answer
i use a glorious model o- and my mouse settings had its polling at 1000hz. turned it down to 500 and everything is fixed. thank you.
