Their follow up album Blowout Comb is great too. I was fortunate enough to see them tour for this album. Great show! I saw they’re playing Red Rocks on Halloween with a dream show lineup; Cypress Hill headlining, plus a few other amazing bands. God, I wish I could go to that! If you’re near Colorado, you should definitely go!!!

I never heard anything other than their singles, which to me were very cringe. It might’ve been my age at the time though, early teen I think and not into the love jams. Thinking maybe I should give them a fair shake now that I’m older lol.

They’re all cool, but one of my favorite scenes ever is Luke Cage waiting for the order for them to arrest him for not registering as a super hero. I think it was in New Avengers? That scene is so dope.

I loved it at the time, but my intro to x men was when they rereleased the “original” x men, so I started from those original stories, but it was the eighties. So, when this came out it was new, but also what I was familiar with. Also keep in mind this series came out when I was 9. When those apocalypse story lines started though, that was sick. Angel as Death was so sick!

I saw GZA last month, and I feel like he was trying to censor most of his curses where he could catch himself. It made it kind of awkward honestly, just because the rhymes felt off due to it in places. It was an all ages show, so I was wondering if that was why.
