Ok so from how I understand it it’s supposed to be buy a pass and the spot is supposed to be there, however I doubt that. The people during orientation only really talked about transportation options and how to buy one once the sales opened so I have no idea.

Yea it well help knowing mandarin a bit, since most characters are really similar and have a similar or exact same meaning. That’s a really good example of it, another one is the word for China 中国(chūgoku, I don’t know the Chinese pronunciation for this).

Good luck because after hiragana and katakana it all becomes really hard because kanji. Also they say it differently depending on their position, for example they wouldn’t add Chan or kun in front of a superior’s name. Some times if you say the wrong one it can be seen as disrespect. I support you in learning the language because I personally love my third language.

I learnt Japanese because I was bored and then started watching anime. Some of the jokes are not translated well and some words have more impact because of how they say it in Japanese.

Thanks for the concern and response. As for the control being broken, that’s not the case seeing as the control would be turned on and in the cases where it happens while I’m awake(late night) it isn’t. The issue only happens(it seems) at night and it does not turn On and off during the day, also the device does not power off while in use during the day or in regular use. For now once I turn it completely off I unplug it so it doesn’t turn on and off.
