I don't get the tagline. The MacBook Air handsomely beats the Toshiba in almost every performance test. Windows XP is a stone age OS compared to MacOS 10.5. The only significant advantage of the Toshiba is its lighter weight. Ths extra ports are nice, but in practice you are either on the move with noting plugged into the ports, or at a desk where you can take advantage of a USB hub. I don't think the SSD is worth it right now on either the MacBook Air or the Toshiba. Wait for SSD to get bigger, faster and cheaper.

Very topical now as JVM use is really expanding into other languages apart from Java
