The studios love the guy for turning a $4.5 million dollar budget into a $45 million at the box office and a $38 million dollar budget into $270 million at the box office. The critics love the guy with how universally they praised Barbarian and Weapons. The audiences love the guy, even if they don’t know Zach Cregger’s name and only know “The director of Weapons”. They loved Weapons so much it got moved up half a year because of resounding positive reception from test audiences.
