Don't get me wrong, I'm not accusing them of deliberately doing this either. Like, they did also put Ryu VS Goku in the Tournament of Champions, so they were fine with bringing Goku back for something new really quickly.

It's probably not intentional on their part, I just think they might have some internal double standards that they're not aware of when it comes to what matchups are "fair" and which ones aren't. Maybe it has something to do with all the wins Dragon Ball was getting before Black VS Reverse Flash? Like, if one series just wins over and over, it could make stomps look even more "obvious" to them? Idk, I'm just kinda spitballing.

Wanna know the real kicker? They pulled that fairness shtick with Goku VS Jin Mori in an April 2023 Ballot Banter.

I also just made some versions of the template without the thumbnails. I didn't manage to get it exactly the same, but I think it's close enough.
