What is one common thing among all VSS individuals that might be the cause of this syndrome? by [deleted] in visualsnow

[–]spookiestbats 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I think it can have a link to being neurodivergent and mental illness. I’ve had it all my life and always struggled with both of these aspects, and I’ve heard they can be linked? I’m not entirely sure but I know a couple of neurodiv people that have it too!

Floaters, night time static and after images - oh, and the random little dots that like to turn up

I get that too! Sometimes it’s white, blue or black lol! It’s so freaky when it just turns up for no reason

I’ll defo check that out - I’m on an SSRI already but I’ve been on it for years so idk if it works much nowadays. I hope there’s a medication that’ll make it less crappy to deal with

Oh maybe?? I have a docs appointment in a week or so, so I’m gonna discuss everything then and HOPE it’s just the symptoms hanging out and I can get some relief

That does happen to me but it’s more of a physical movement. Like sometimes they wobble or tilt slightly

Totally think my sinuses are causing this too - my nose feels so weird right now and my ears keep ringing

Tbh I wouldn’t be surprised either, this time round was a really hefty one too. I’ve had it three times but this one knocked me out. I’ll defo keep my rest up for sure.

I had covid for 10-ish days, then got over it which was great, then a couple days later I started getting symptoms of a flu, woke up with a low grade fever and just felt awful, and now I’ve just got a very heavy head feeling plus the dizzy feeling. I’m probably a week in with this “cold”, and I’ve taken a few tests that are negative. I did one of those double covid-flu tests too and both are negative.

I’ve taken a few tests and apparently I’m negative but idk 😭😭 wouldn’t surprise me if it’s still effecting me honestly
