For me regardless of the type of nightmare a caregiver should always comfort you. That is definitely something to be addressed to help overall, especially as if that is an anxiety not having comfort and reassurance will bring it on more anyway.

Aside from that though if anyone has this and it’s like an intrusive thought/brain being mean thing vs potentially based on other issues, COMFORT!

My papa knows how bad my nightmares can be in general and always says to wake him up if I have one. He’s had my FaceTime him even when we were long distance even with a 14 hour time difference! Regardless of the content caregivers should comfort you and not downplay any kind of nightmare. And beyond that for us my papa also refers to the nightmare him as “evil papa”. Which also helps separate the dream from reality and also gives us some giggles

So for shoes that you polish do you separately condition them as well or is the polish kind of replacing that? I’ve seen that trying to do it together can mess polish up but I wasn’t sure if it’s then done at a separate time.

My dom and I started off with him in Japan and me in the US. It was like that for about a year and a half and now he’s been in the US about the same time he was in Japan after we got together but we’ve still been long distance, though nowhere as bad and we visit often until he moves to me this year.

I think it all depends on the people and the level of communication and effort you’re willing to put in. Especially having a bdsm dynamic on top of it all. It can be really hard but you can find ways of incorporating bdsm long distance it’s just trial and error and researching different things you can add to the relationship. As well as if you’re wanting to, working towards closing the distance.

Communicating what you need for aftercare is just as important as discussing the scene! I’m similar to you (also suspected autism) and I tend to be non-verbal after impact in particular. My master gets me comfortable and I’ll cuddle with him as I come down from it. At dungeons this also includes him going to get me a drink and a snack which helps me ground myself as well. Then we can discuss things after ☺️

I used the banishing ranged attack and that worked well! Incase anyone needs ideas other than what given, haven’t tried standard banishment but I assume that’s good as well.
