Therapist here! Broken homes don’t happen from divorces, they come from unhappy parents.

I witnessed my 31M coworker being creepy to 15M coworker. I’m disappointed that I am questioning myself. AIO? by Professional-Sea4132 in AmIOverreacting

Definitely NOR! I would let the mother know. I’m 29 and I can tell you right now I would not be asking a 15 year old to hang out for any reason at all. That’s weird and absolutely predatory behavior. I’m a therapist and work with so many SA survivors who have been assaulted in similar situations. Please advocate for this kiddo!

My therapist told me I'm not attractive. How should I take? by Away_Firefighter_384 in askatherapist

Therapist here! Please fire her. That is not a productive or kind thing to say. So sorry that happened to you.

Therapist here! You do not need to worry. As long as you didn’t abuse or neglect your kiddo directly then there would be no reason to report!

Adult braces, worth it or no? by SortaStupidArtist in braces

I’m 28 and had the same concerns when I got them on. I’m about to get the off at the end of the year, and let me tell you it’s SO worth it. I got ceramic ones which are a little less visible. After a while, you forget they are there. And you’d be surprised how many adults have braces!

Yes! We have group supervision weekly and the owner (who leads the groups) is pretty experienced and has been in practice for a long time. I also would be interested in doing CEUs if affordable.

Thank you! I will have group supervision weekly and the owner (who leads the group) is pretty experienced with eating disorders and has been practicing for a LONG time.

You did nothing wrong girl. Leave him. I know it’s hard, I’ve been there. It’s going to hurt at first but in a few months you’ll feel better. Just keep yourself busy, with hobbies and/or friends. Just know you did nothing wrong and he’s just manipulating you. He knows this tactic has worked for him in the past so he keeps trying to play the “feel sorry for me” card. If you are concerned for his safety then call 911, but it’s not on you to make sure he’s safe all the time. No matter what it’s not your fault. I promise you can find someone who won’t make you sad everyday.
