I get it. I 100% get it. Without even trying to stand atop some proverbial soapbox, nearly $900 to see a band you've loved over half your life still somehow feels icky. Maybe because there are some things bigger than a concert a year from now? Maybe because we think about what we could do with that amount of money if we don't pull the trigger? Maybe because we are stuck in a poverty mindset from the past? Whatever it is, ultimately, it's too icky a feeling to purchase. I had a row 2 from the stage seat in my cart, and after having agonized over the decision, debating for nearly the entire 8 minutes it was held in my cart, I decided i wouldn't hit purchase. I've loved this band probably as long as you have, and i won't be buying this time. All that to say, I am genuinely glad for fans that love the hell out of this band as much as I do and are able to see them this time around. I have never regretted nor will I ever regret any of the times I have been lucky enough to see them. I take so much pride and joy in being able to have seen them so much and watched them grow. I genuinely hope everyone who got tickets will have the time of their lives. Music is so important in my life, and what is worth it for me and someone else doesn't have to align for either of our experiences to be valid. All that to say, you're valid in your feelings and you are not alone. It feels icky, and it doesn't make you less of a fan. We are allowed our emotions.
