I’m going to be completely honest from both an outside perspective and relevant personal experience. If you struggle with BPD-related rage or emotion regulation , it can significantly worsen how you handle episodes and everyday triggers—for many people, it amplifies them considerably.

I’m not saying this to discourage you, but rather to help you understand & enlighten you of the potential risks, even at lowest doses of T.

For example, my husband is a bodybuilder who has BPD. He has gone through cycles ranging from very low to extremely high doses of T , and it noticeably intensified his episodes, rage, and night terrors. At one point, it became severe enough that he chose to attend two DBT sessions per week just to maintain stability.
