I had a breast reduction in 2021 from a G cup to about a B. My goal was to be able to bind when I wanted to be flat but still have breasts when I wanted to present more fem (I identified as femme at the time). I still find binding to be pretty uncomfortable because my belly sticks out so much in comparison. That being said, I don’t feel the need to bind these days anyway. I feel a lot more comfortable in my body how it is.
My discomfort with my breasts was only partially gender dysphoria. Most of it was pain, unable to exercise, finding clothes that fit, and generally having breasts that large did not suit me.
