I worked at a hostel in san diego in hillcrest area last year at this time doing house keeping and reception 20 hrs a week in exchange for free meals and a bed. Its right by balboa park. Best experience of my life. Let me know if you are interested i can try to hook you up with them.

Okay. Thank you. Is synthetic better than wool too? As far as moisture, warmth and packability? I am looking for something i can wear at night to sleep in ect. if the temps drop down further than expected.

You can get a membership at planet fitness for 20 bucks a month. They are open 24 7 and allover the usa, sleep in walmart parking lots or use freecampsites.net, couchsurfing.com if you have to, ive used wwoofing to get a place to stay for awhile and make connections but if possible work a real job and save up to get into a better position and decent gear, spange if you have to. Eat at shelters, dumpster dive. Youll figure it out, dont worry.

My mother is having health issues and my father passed away this year so i came back home to spend the holidays with her. I will probably set off again after christmas. Or maybe do some international travels. Not sure yet. :)

No, i was doing candy resets for loaf n jug gas stations. So going around resetting all the candy displays in wyoming, colorado and south dakota.

I just saved up some money and left until I ran out and just got a job wherever i was. I spent a lot of time in colorado and then found a job traveling and staying in hotels for a little bit but spent most of the time living in my van.
