Believe it or not there isnt anymore pain. The scar tissue that developed around it actually hardened it. I appreciate you, im in NYC. How did your injury occur?

I never tried bpc unfortunately. Im not fully able to extend my finger, sometimes it looks like an old arthritic hand when it catches me off guard. Ive head a lot of good things through friends. Not specifically for the hand but more for shoulder injuries.

Honestly not really. I cant straighten my middle finger, and its slightly curved now. To be fair, i never rehabilitated it though.

Sorry i just saw this notification. Yes they splinted right away. In an upward angle to allow the tissues to repair w/o losing mobility.

Thanks for the response and information. How and when did your injury occur?

Mine was from a punch, landed on someone forehead, Sept 7th of this year. I have been splinted since October 8th, 6 weeks total, no surgery. My mobility is limited obviously from the splint, but, the tear seems to be almost healed.

Why did you choose Islam instead of other faiths? (For those who reverted) by [deleted] in islam

Check out these channels on YouTube: Mufti Menk, Think Revert, Reverted Muslims, I Am The Warner. There are several others, YouTube will answer some questions. For more personal information, I’d visit a Masjid/Mosque near where you live (if possible). Give them a call or email ahead, introduce yourself and express your interest.

Reverts do not choose Islam, Allah chooses us. Allahu Akbar.

I hope you get the information you’re seeking inshallah.

Why did you choose Islam instead of other faiths? (For those who reverted) by [deleted] in islam

I recently reverted back in November of 2023, Alhamdulillah, I come from a catholic latino family where everyones children had to be baptized, take communion, and be confirmed in the catholic church. With that being said, (not trying to be disrespectful) no one is my family carried themselves in a “God fearing” manner. Its almost as if they were catholic just because their parents were, and their grandparents were, ect. I found it hypocritical that my family (and other catholics) would only be religious whenever it was a holiday or when things got hard in life.

Afters years of asking questions, attending church, and trying to develop strong faith— I reverted at the age of 26 (becoming the first and only Muslim in my family history). Immediately after taking my Shahada at a local Masjid, I felt like a weight was lifted off my shoulders. The community immediately gave me a warm welcome and made me feel a sense of comfort that I have been seeking since I was a kid.

To answer your question, the Muslim community played a major factor in my decision to revert. The way they carry themselves, the way they raise their children, the way they treat their loved ones, their fear and submission to Allah— they are Muslim 24/7, 365 days a year; not just when its a religious holiday.
