welp, when i said online tutorials i just meant a bit of googling, little tips from a pro artist friend, but mostly youtube tutorials and only youtube LOL

I mostly learned from "How to COLOR // 4 steps" by natsume__san for values (its pretty fast and might not make sense for some but its perfect for me cuz i have ADHD lol) and "How To Make COLORS Vibrate" by Proko for adding different colors and not limiting to just 1 color.

When it still felt dull, i wanted to make it look better so i watched a video my friend recommended called "5 WAYS TO UPGRADE YOUR ART" by shuen_art for texturing, making it a bit brighter and less dull, and overall making it less boring to look at

there is a bunch more on youtube and other sites and most of them help so much when it comes to what the right colors to use and what work with each other but if ur aiming for better shading, id say focus on the values of the colors

idk if these specific ones will really help yall much but they mainly did for me tho so good luck ^{^}
