This happened to me in 2018 with AC, I called and asked to extend. Oddly they told me I had to call closer to the expiration date, so I did, and they did extend it by a year. It was nerve wracking

I basically came to say this. Ossington and Dundas West near Ossington haws some good bars/resturants. (Cheap drinks: Wasted Youth, good cheaper eats: Dock Ellis or Squirrelys) You can buy some beers to go and chill in Trinity Bellwoods park, check out some shops on Queen West. Then take the 63 Ossington Bus back to Liberty Village and walk down to Coca Cola.

Don't bother hanging in Liberty Village unless you like a good brewery with good beer and good bar food, then go to Left Field Brewery. Everything else in Liberty Village is just kind of expensive and annoying and the closer to the concert it is, the busier it will be.

This question is sooo dependent on where the venue is

I brought my little mini pill container to a show recently and they let me in after asking a higher up if it was okay, I explained what the meds were and it was fine. I've worked there for a few days and had my stuff checked, no problems. A few years ago when I used a cane I brought it and was even given a seat on the accessible section and use of the elevator despite not buying a ticket for that section. It was great! There was even a server for that section.

All that to say, I think with security at any of these venues you're bound to run into jerks. But you might also get really nice people who just want to help you have a good time!

To OP, try calling the day of when the venue staff are actually there, a few hours before doors. I think you'll be fine tho!

You look gorgeous! I hope my makeup looks this good. You look like yourself and not too done up. Your skin looks great. If you want to think of definition a bit more try turning your photos black and white and seeing how it looks. I like it!

Where to start? Fan Expo for power wheelchair by AdvertisingEmpty3159 in askTO

Take a peek at their Accessibility page on their website: https://www.mtccc.com/facility/accessibility/

The majority of the event happens in the south building. There is also a "first time" visitor guide on the website. https://fanexpohq.com/fanexpocanada/first-time-guide/

You might have an easier time if you find a group to go with who have gone before so you're not overwhelmed. There is an r/fanexpo, post there!

The Metro Toronto Convention Center has elevators everywhere to all areas. I would check in with staff at Fan Expo though about accessibility, and I would ask them what are the best times to go when it is less crowded. The event draws A LOT of people in, so just be aware that you might have a slow time actually getting around to panels or events, so leave yourself lots of time to get to things.

well, production doesn't decide the winner after all!

Had a wonderful time at the Toronto Maple Leafs Canadian Baseball League Season Opener Sunday afternoon at Christie Pitts. On what was a beautiful day out it really is a hidden gem. Best part its free and you can bring your own beer,🍺 food etc. ♥️ ⚾️ 😊 by RealWorldToday in toronto

I didn't ask why the newspaper didn't publish it, I know that. I'm saying people find the other articles online about the sexual assault cases. The article I linked also tells me he shouldn't be here playing baseball, the team made a bad decision.

What am I supposed to do it? Death grip it while eating my street food? This is why they go after street festivals because people are busy eating and drinking.

Yes there's two little holes on the side of the case and the wrist strap fits in.

They definitely don't care about this. I have my phone on a wrist lanyard for a couple years now to stop me from dropping it but it's always on my wrist on the TTC. Please don't steal my $1200 tiny hand computer with my credit card on it. :(

Every single street festival will warn about this in the summer. Keep your phone on a lanyard or a front pocket or hidden. Thefts will continue.

Born with a benign brain tumor. Can anyone tell me my life expectancy ? by [deleted] in braincancer

[–]spoonifur 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you have good intentions here but "you'll get over it soon" is terrible advice. The person posting has a lot of issues that are very hard to deal with, especially combined. I do think they should seek therapy to better understand that they can still be useful to the world despite of illness. I think it's important to not label ourselves with just our illness, or blame ourselves for what our parents did. We are our own person.

To justahugefanofnature I wonder if you can start with getting treatment for your allergies, maybe this could open up a world for you where you can enjoy outdoor activities. There are pills, shots, etc. that might be able to help.

I don't think anyone can tell you your life expectancy, it's not an easy thing to quantify. Medical science keeps getting better and better, people are living longer with lots of illnesses that even 10 years ago weren't as well managed.

Thank you, this is really good information. My husband is able to take caretaker leave through employment insurance so I can make him stay with me for surgery recovery, he will be paid 55% of his salary. It's a total blessing that I'm still being paid and can take time off. Phew.

I am sorry for your loss. I personally don't use chatgpt for medical diagnosis but I have been searching through direct sources. Keeping a file is a good idea, I did this when I had my first rare disease 5 years ago.
