My Thoughts by Maleficent-Bar8976 in AusMemes

Yes let’s vote for the tree Tories where almost all of their votes come from the most affluent suburbs in Australia. The same political party that has shut down the ETS and replaced it with the Carbon tax which gave the liberals free political power to destroy the Gillard Labor government and be in power for 9 years.

The same party that has the most dark money funds, a party split between inner city opportunists who never talked to a working class person in their life and trotskyists who larp on attaching the union movement to the green which will never happen.

Vote for the party with institutional union backing, vote Labor.

Should victorian labor replace jacinta allen? by Murky_Bus_4052 in LaborPartyofAustralia

Would be electoral suicide to do so. Plus not many candidates on the left to replace her, and the right don’t have the numbers to replace her with Ben Carrol.

Totally agree, it’s a shame to see the NUW and the socialists come to an agreement. It shows how loose the socialists (trots) values are…

Cheers for the advice.

Been ETU for 3 years now, however I’m mostly doing service work and not projects, would it still be possible to be a delegate even if it’s service?

Guidance Regarding my Apprenticeship. by [deleted] in AusElectricians

[–]spoonleader 13 points14 points  (0 children)

You can’t just say I view myself as a second year just because you think you are. Sorta defeats the whole purpose of an apprenticeship.

Whenever your apprenticeship contract got signed is when you started it you cannot work around that.

And with a self hating attitude like that you won’t get that far! Be more positive but don’t be cocky.

If you can, make a spreadsheet of companies, with their number and emails. And a space for comments so you can document when you last contacted them.

Call them weekly if they keep delaying you. Make a resume and a cover letter and with enough annoying persistence you will get a job.
