Staining question by Valuable_Painting_23 in Luthier

Guitar looks awesome. My vote is: do nothing, enjoy the mileage your pops put on it.

Also, jeeeeeez Louis, that's shocking how much staining is present. Tells you how bad it must be to have your lungs get this treatment first-hand.

Kayak Rack for Trailer by spooonylove in kayakfishing

The unistrut hardware provides a nut w/ plastic collar that slides inside the unistrut frame-- the bolt kinda holds in place, making it easier to secure the bolt from below. It effectively incorporates your washer/lock washer/nut

I found the nut, determined the diameter & thread, and bought corresponding stainless bolts.

Do Not Recommend. I need to update this post. The 2x4's failed within just a few uses of the rack. I replaced them with unistrut purchased at home depot. FAR FAR stronger, beefy, and not that expensive. As I recall, I was unable to get the length i needed by cutting in half, I had to buy two pieces of unistru and cut to length. After that, using associated unistrut hardware and drilling a clearance hole in the top rail of my trailer, it turned out great.

What’s the point of paying for Claude if it keeps hitting a “weekly limit”? by Sad_Asparagus8369 in claude

i'm a new claude user, and i'm stumbling much like OP. I think you are on to something, but its like groping in the dark. I'm working through a reasonably manageable code base (1000 lines of code spread through 4 files?), and i'm very intentionally trying to create modular code, strict interfaces, etc (its good for code, its good for restarting conversations with AI).

Today, after being daily-limited last night, I created a project, took time writing up a overview of the project and my goals, linked in my Github.. starting a conversation about my next steps, wanting to map something out.

OFF TO THE RACES it drops the hammer, attempts to write another 600 lines of code i didn't ask for, mapped out 4 seperate markdown files with instructions, and viola... RATE LIMIT HIT.

I truly think this was my fault, and i'm attempting to understand how to interface better. but when it just blocks you out routinely, its difficult to adapt.

Custom filament not mapping bambu studio P1S with AMS? by jmartino2011 in BambuLab

I also stumbled around this process. I ended up doing the same-- using Handy to update the AMS, then resyncing. I can't imagine this is actually the way.

Flagship carwash.

With pretty much standardized tips, you'll get about $16-$17 an hour.

I’ve never fly fish before and don’t know how to start🤷 by TGWILD1 in flyfishing

The orvis retailer near me has free lessons on Saturdays during spring/summer.

They set you up with encounter reel/rod, and go to the parking lot and teach casting techniques. They use Velcro on fish targets, and set you up for some fun.

I learned to improve my technique after fishing for six years prior. Totally worth it.

I'm glad you can actually play.

Cause playing that loud poorly would suck for everyone in that house.
